Participate in the 2021 Schnauzer Rescue of Cincinnati Calendar

The SRC Calendar Photo Contest officially kicks off April 19, 2020 and runs through May 17, 2020.

 Voting will occur May 31st through June 14th. 

This is SRC’s eighth calendar contest! Our 2020 calendar was not completed due to restructuring of the rescue since the loss of our president, Pat Miller. We are hopeful our 2021 calendar will be a huge success. We need your photos. Most photos submitted are used somewhere on the calendar. The finished calendar will be completed and mailed mid-September. They make perfect gifts for the holidays.

The deadline for submitting entries is May 17, 2020. We’re sorry, but no entries can be accepted after that date. Entries have to be collected, judged (winners announced in mid-June), and assembled into the calendar. We must stick to this schedule to have them ready by September.

Do you have a Miss or Mr. February – being “My Valentine” or a Miss or Mr. July – showing their patriotism? You get the picture! Costumes are not required. What we really want are pictures of this amazing breed with a wonderful background showing off their true colors! So, keep the camera clicking and make this a great calendar highlighting our schnauzers!! Or maybe you have a photo already that captures the essence of the breed. Group photos are allowed.

These photos must be taken by you and not have a copyright on them. Each winning entry will receive ONE free calendar! Calendars are $20, including shipping! For orders of 5 or more, we’ll reach out directly with shipping costs. Further details on how to order will be shared later.

Please copy and paste the information below in an email and provide the information, attach your picture and wait for an acknowledgment. You will be notified that your entry has been received, and that your picture is of an acceptable resolution. We opened a special mailbox for this year’s entries. For best photo reproduction results, a high resolution (minimum 640×480) and at least 300 dpi, large format pictures are required. It’s always disappointing to see a great picture but with a resolution that isn’t sufficient to place on the calendar. Many cell phone pictures are grainy (try wiping the lens first with rubbing alcohol). Some, particular older style phones or those where you’ve set the resolution as best for email, do not meet the resolution requirements. Check your digital camera settings to be sure they meet these requirements. All adopted / rescued Miniature Schnauzers are eligible to be included in the SRC calendar. We also have a special Mini Memorial section of the calendar recognizing Minis who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
